According to officials, the fire brigade vehicle was carrying nearly 5,000 litres of water when its rear wheel slipped into a concealed drain at the station’s entrance. The weight of the water-filled tanker caused the wheel to sink deeper, leaving the truck immobilised and tilting dangerously to one side.
Police personnel immediately cordoned off the spot and requested assistance from the municipal corporation. A JCB machine was quickly deployed to the location, and after a cautious, coordinated effort between police and municipal workers, the fire tender was safely lifted and brought back onto stable ground. No injuries or further damage were reported.
